This Grade II listed building with its distinctive facade was first built in 1775 and has since undergone an extensive refurbishment project, transforming the majority of the bedrooms and public areas. The carefully-designed interior has created a sense of restored grandeur with simple detailing and the use of natural materials in a nod to its rich history. Each room features a flat-screen TV, free WiFi and an private bathroom, alongside welcome amenities and luxury Byredo toiletries. Free high-speed WiFi is also available throughout the hotel. The on-site restaurant, Le Petit Beefbar, serves the finest cuts of beef from around the world, as well as a menu of cocktails, spirits, soft drinks and coffees. The restaurant is open Wednesday–Sunday only, but the bar is open seven days a week from 12.30 until 11pm. The hotel cafe Burr & Co. is a local favorite, serving drinks and a selection of cakes, pastries, sandwiches, and salads. It is open 8am–5pm. on weekdays and 9am–5pm on weekends. A full room service menu is also available for guests wishing to dine in-room.
